Hi there and Happy New Year!  Welcome to my Sandy Morris Photo blog!

 

I am constantly shooting/working on various projects, so come here often for updates on current shoots, pre production, behind the scenes, and post production!

First I wanted to catch everyone up on 2020....Many great things happened for me last year, one of which was that I was accepted into the photojournalism Missouri Photo Workshop  and had the honor to study under the infamous Bill Marr and Sarah Leen formerly of National Geographic.  The process was grueling:  One week to shoot a story using ONLY 400 images...no deleting!  We did get to select our own topics, and I chose to study Ramona Romance, a burlesque dancer dealing with the pandemic in Chicago.  You can view the entire story below.  Thanks for reading...and more soon!  S
