 PROJECTS PROJECTS!! So I'm currently working with  @plantstandcollective on a Women and plants project. Super fun!!!....Plant Stand Collective is a plant shop with local art and you can see my work hanging for sale on the walls at 3247 N. Broadway in Chicago.  And here's the first of the series!!!.....Its been super rewarding and challenging working with plants as the environment.   What I love most about my creative projects is visualizing an image and making it come to life!           Here's a BTS (Behind the scenes) of another:   And the result: I will post the whole series here when finished, and then look for these images for sale hanging at Plant Stand Collective !

  Hi there and Happy New Year!  Welcome to my Sandy Morris Photo blog!   I am constantly shooting/working on various projects, so come here often for updates on current shoots, pre production, behind the scenes, and post production! First I wanted to catch everyone up on 2020....Many great things happened for me last year, one of which was that I was accepted into the photojournalism Missouri Photo Workshop   and had the honor to study under the infamous Bill Marr and Sarah Leen formerly of National Geographic .  The process was grueling:  One week to shoot a story using ONLY 400 images...no deleting!  We did get to select our own topics, and I chose to study Ramona Romance, a burlesque dancer dealing with the pandemic in Chicago.  You can view the entire story below.  Thanks for reading...and more soon!  S
